Two distinct design types are available: Vertical loads and Lateral loads on panels. Both are used to design load-bearing masonry, but the former is typically used for internal walls and the latter for external walls.
The design type can be specified by going to Input > General
Vertical loads
Walls subject to in-plane loads such as internal walls. Design criteria are limited to axial resistance and slenderness.
Lateral loads on panels
Walls subject to in and out-of-plane loading such as external walls. Design criteria are limited to moment resistance perpendicular and parallel to the bed joints.
