Error: Column discarded due to connection along the height

Column design links do not support connections along the height of the column

To solve this error:

  • Select the column and use the Split command. This can be found in the Objects tab > Geometry panel.
  • Navigate to the Design links Workspace
  • In the RecCol table at the bottom of the screen, add a new design group for the concrete column
Select all segments and add to the design group
